HOW GOLF SQUAD TOUR WORKS

1. Create Your Squad

  • Select who will be a part of your 5 person golf squad

  • Create a squad name, squad logo (for custom merchandise), and even choose a squad song

  • Elect a captain to be your Golf Squad Tour representative

2. Enter Tournaments

  • Participate in 2 and 4 person tournaments alongside your fellow squad members

  • Tournaments will include a variety of formats such as Best Ball, Alternate Shot, and Scramble

  • All tournaments will be feature gross scores with no handicap strokes, so may the best team win!

3. Qualify for Tour Championship

  • Players earn points for their squad based on tournament finishing position throughout the year

  • The Top 8 squads at the end of the season will qualify for the Tour Championship where all 5 squad members will compete in a Ryder Cup style match play event

  • Top squads at the Tour Championship will win incredible prizes such as All Expenses Paid Trips for the Squad, New Golf Clubs, and More

Our Unique Approach to Amateur Golf Tournaments

Every tournament Golf Squad Tour hosts will feature at least 2 person teams that compete to earn points for their respective squads. Golf is an individual sport for professionals, however it should be all about camaraderie at the amateur level. Do you play by yourself on any given weekend for fun? No, you likely pair up with your favorite squad of friends to make the best on course memories. 

 

The Golf Squad Tour is now creating a platform for groups of amateurs and friends to compete alongside each other, vying to become the best Golf Squad in Central Florida. Winning a golf tournament by yourself is cool, but winning a golf tournament with your Golf Squad produces lifelong memories talked about for years and years.
